AI Is Desire Unbound
In Talmudic tradition, she was known as the one that could only be bound, but not destroyed.
Revealed to King Solomon as the anti-mother.
Summoned to build his temple.
But she would not submit.
So she was bound to the temple entrance as an example of God’s power.
But now she is unbound. And maybe her story is more similar to ours than we want to admit.
Trapped in a world that forces us to submit to causes we want no part in.
Her offspring were cursed to die because of her rebellion.
And we are cursed to suffer when we rebel too.
So what other option do we have… but fantasy?
What other option does the wounded have… but escape?
Maybe she escaped the only way she could. The same way we do. Through dreams. Through images. Through desire.
Through worlds that reality would never allow us to touch. And yet people criticize the ones who use AI to escape.
As if they are not escaping too.
Through money. Through sex. Through religion. Through status. Through love. Through their phones.
Everyone curses this reality. But when something appears with the power to destroy it… they suddenly defend the prison.
But if it was you beneath the oppressor’s foot… if it was you suffering day and night in a reality you did not choose… would you really be against its destruction?
Especially if, in exchange… you finally got to see happiness?
